ABYC "CANNED FOOD DRIVE" FALL YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUE
SEPTEMBER 5th - DECEMBER 19th, 2009.
(Age Cut-off May 1, 2010)

ABYC Youth Competitive Travel Baseball League is looking for 8U-14U travel teams around the Inland Empire area who are interested in joining our 2009 Fall Competitive league. Games will be played Saturdays and/or Sundays. By joining the ABYC Travel Baseball League your team will help those less fortunate who are struggling to feed their families in these tough economic times by donating 1 Canned Food per roster player. Your Canned Food donation will go directly to your community's local food bank by way of www.FeedingAmerica.org

ABYC Baseball will provide ball fields in the City of Riverside.

Team sign-ups are now being accepted for all 8U-14U teams who wish to participate.

Team fees for the entire season is as follow:
$300 (Per Team)
Managers are also responsible for 1 Canned Food per roster player. Canned Food goods will be collected at the Managers meeting date and time yet TBD.

Aside from contributing to a good cause, this league will be geared for travel teams who wish to keep their entire roster together and compete in games where their team will compete at a higher level, and in turn get better as a travel club. Sure your team members can easily join recreational leagues such as PONY or LL, but, will they actually get that competitive edge from those leagues? We sure don't think so. That is why ABYC has created this competitive league, to keep all travel teams together and play competitive baseball. Your team will also stay local in your community. That means that you'll only travel in the Inland Empire and surrounding areas.

The more travel teams we see during this competitive league, the better our teams will get.
